University of Roehampton Pathway
With a rich history dating back to the 1840s, the University of Roehampton is London’s only campus university, situated only 30 minutes from central London in 54 acres of beautiful grounds. Our mission is to support all of our students, whatever their background, to reach their full potential.
The pathway programmes are designed to help students to develop both the English language and academic skills required to study undergraduate degrees at the University of Roehampton. The University has a student population of over 10,000 students, who represent 140 nationalities from across the globe, resulting in a diverse and lively student environment on campus.
The Pathway College is a partnership between the University of Roehampton and QA Higher Education – a UK pathway provider.
For students who need to develop their academic study skills and English language ability, we offer an International Foundation Programme for entry in to the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Roehampton.
The pathway programmes are validated by the University and taught by QA Higher Education. The courses are designed to prepare you for the seamless transition on to an undergraduate degree.
At Roehampton, we believe in the power of education to transform lives and communities. We understand that going to university can be a life-changing experience. We pride ourselves on the guarantee we make to all of our students, namely, high levels of contact time with excellent teachers working at the cutting edge of their subject areas.
We will support you, whatever your background, to reach your full potential and to become the kind of graduate employers’ value. We recognise that it is the combination of your time spent inside and outside of the classroom that makes a great university experience.
As a result, we work closely with our students to offer a broad range of facilities, activities and events to ensure you have a fantastic time while you are here.
Life on campus
The University of Roehampton has its roots in the traditions of its four Colleges: Digby Stuart, Froebel, Southlands and Whiteland’s.
All four Colleges were formed in the 1800s and are the focal point for the University’s vibrant social and sports scenes. With more than 60 different student clubs and societies, there is plenty going on at Roehampton. These societies are a great way to meet new people and cover a wide range of interests, beliefs, and activities so there is something for everyone. The Students’ Union is always on hand to help you set up a new group if you think there’s something missing too.
