The programme introduces you to the fundamentals both financial and management accounting and works towards specialist optional modules in the final year including auditing, forensic accounting and Islamic finance.  You will also have hands-on access to the USW Trading Room. Through the simulations you will experience the dynamic environment of real-time training and experience the complex strategies of buying and selling, understand volatile markets and the uncertainty of risk.
You can also gain the CIMA accredited Sage Accounting Certificate which will make you instantly more employable.
Students will learn through a mix of lectures, tutorials, workshops, innovative e-learning techniques and directed self-study. As well as our links with the ACCA you will benefit from regular presentations from guest lecturers representing many aspects of the profession.
